Alert Words
If different words can serve as identifiers for different types of context and key information which students need to catch on to. If students can identify these while listening (or reading), this helps students pick out the important information while listening to a teacher/lecture.

These categories would be introduced slowly depending on the needs and age of the child. The more of these words a student can recognize, the easier it will be for a student to pick up on the key information and comprehend the information which they are being told.
